Crestwood

Crestwood is a mostly residential neighborhood in the western portion of Houston, Texas. The neighborhood sits between Memorial Park and the Rice Military district. Crestwood was a World War I training camp known as Camp Logan, which was subsequently repurposed for residential use and developed. The land was originally brought and later sold by Will and Mike Hogg from Houston in the 1930s. By the 1940s, builders started construction on the lovely residences in the community. The old houses were updated and replaced with larger ones in the 2000s as demand for real estate increased in Houston. Nowadays, the 127 homes in Crestwood serve as one of Houston’s most expensive neighborhoods due to its strict deed restrictions and exquisite selection of single-family homes.

Crestwood consists of beautiful single-family homes that provide fantastic move-up homes for buyers interested in moving closer to the city center. Mediterranean and Traditional Colonial architecture are common in this neighborhood. Most homes have more than 4 bedrooms and 5 to 10 bathrooms. It has an average of 3,000 to 6,000 square feet of living space. The lot area ranges from 7,500 to 9,000 square feet. The properties were priced between $750,000 for older and smaller properties to around $4,000,000 for bigger ones.
